Music which honors Truth beyond the boundaries of the church walls are treasures to be shared.

The following artists are Christian musicians who spread the truth in subtle and intricately designed compositions. Please add them to your listening list!

Josh Garrels  – joshgarrels.com 

From rap to folk to beautiful acoustic melodies, Garrels is by far one of my favourite musicians. Not often do you find someone who declares truth and hope in crafted poetry and artful song.

 

Strahan – strahanmusic.com

I’m thrilled and incredibly proud to recommend a Kiwi (New Zealand) artist. Strahan defines himself as folk psalmist with ‘three chords and the truth’. His music has done wonders in ministry and therapy in my life.

 

Lowland Hum – lowlandhum.com

The first time I heard these two was as an opening act for Penny & Sparrow, and the second time as an opening act for the Oh Hellos. But the second time we went mostly to hear them. Minimalism, maturity, truth, vulnerability are unbelievably refreshing attributes for a band/duo. Refresh yourself and listen.

Jon Foreman – jonforeman.com

An oldie but a goodie. Although currently touring with his band, Switchfoot, Jon Foreman’s solo albums are rich in musically crafted songs of truth. House of God, Forever demonstrates his gift in articulating pure Scripture in a fresh song. I encourage Christians to explore his artistry in seeking to further grasp Scriptural truth.
